We collect the minimum needed to run the site. We don't sell your data, show you ads, or track you across the web.

What we collect
Singlish One has no accounts and no login. Here's the limited data we do handle:
- — IP addresses — used only to deduplicate votes (one vote per word per IP). Not linked to any identity.
- — Submitted content — words, definitions, and examples you submit are stored and displayed publicly if approved.
- — Author handles — the optional username you provide when submitting a word or example, shown alongside your contribution.
What we don't collect
- — No names, emails, or personal accounts
- — No tracking pixels or cross-site tracking
- — No advertising networks or data brokers
- — No behavioural profiling or interest targeting
Cookies
We use session-only cookies strictly for site functionality (e.g. remembering that you've already voted). No third-party cookies. No persistent tracking cookies. Close the tab and they're gone.
Third-party services
Singlish One runs on Cloudflare (hosting and CDN). Cloudflare may log standard web traffic data (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of infrastructure operations. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
We currently run no analytics service (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar).
Your rights
If you submitted a word or example and want it removed, reach out and we'll take care of it. Because we don't link submissions to email addresses, you'll need to describe the content clearly so we can find it.
We honour removal requests in good faith and aim to action them within 14 days.
